I have always had a love for people and enjoy building a connection with others. It brings me so much joy to have made a difference in someone’s day or to have brought a smile to someone’s face. Acts of kindness are a big part of who I am, and I feel is a way I can give back to all those around me and the community.
When I started out on my journey of choosing a career, Nursing always appealed to me. It seemed like a natural fit because it allowed me the opportunity to truly help others in need. I received my associate degree in Nursing from Ameritech College (now Joyce University) in 2008. I began working in Home Health and Hospice and immediately fell in love with this area of healthcare. It has allowed me the opportunity to care for individuals where they feel most comfortable and safe….in their homes. Being a Home Health and Hospice nurse is a special avenue of healthcare that allows you additional one-on-one time with each patient and their family to be able to provide needed support and education that is unique to each individual with a personalized plan of care. My passion in Nursing is Hospice care and I am currently studying to get my Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) certification. I currently work as a Director of Nursing for a Hospice company.
I was blessed with the opportunity to open an AMIV mobile franchise with one of my closest friends Tangi Perry RN. We both felt this was another amazing way to serve the people in our community with the ever-changing healthcare system.

From the time I could remember there has never been a question about what I wanted to do when I grew up. I have a passion for caring for people and nursing has afforded me the opportunity to do what I love. Prior to becoming a nurse, I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for eight years with the Alzheimer’s population as well as in Home Health and Hospice. At that time, I knew where I would make my home in nursing (Home Health and Hospice), however, I would not get that opportunity for another 10 years. Prior to going back to nursing school, I ran my own daycare and preschool Perry’s Playhouse Daycare and Preschool, so I was able to stay home with my children.
In 2010 an opportunity arose where I was able to go back to school. During this time my neighbor helped me get my CNA certification renewed and I began working at MLATC helping train other CNAs for their most sacred calling, caring for others. In 2011 I graduated from MLATC with my Licensed Practical Nursing Degree (LPN) and began working in an Assisted Living Facility to obtain enough clinical hours to help supervise clinicals for CNAs. During this time, I continued my general education courses at UVU to obtain my BSN degree.
In 2013 I graduated from Weber State University with my Associate Degree in Nursing. In 2014 I graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I have always loved learning and education and have never stopped increasing my knowledge to better care for others. Currently, I am enrolled in the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing (WOCN) program through Emory University in Georgia and plan to sit for National Boards to obtain my Certified Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (CWOCN) degree in February. I am also studying to get my Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) certification.
Throughout my career, I have held many management positions as Director of Nursing for multiple companies in Home Health and Hospice as well as in an Assisted Living Facility. Currently, I am the Director of Nursing for Yarrow Home Health and also act as their Corporate Training Director for multiple companies for Senara Corporation which includes Yarrow Home Health and Hospice, Centre Health Group (NP clinic), and Centre You (Ketamine Clinic).
As many of you are aware there are multiple changes going on in our healthcare system currently. Having worked in Home Health and Hospice for many years there are treatments that use to be standard care that patients can no longer easily get access to. One such treatment is IV fluids. So, when presented with an opportunity a few months ago to open a mobile IV business with one of my best friends Cassie Anderson RN, I could not pass it up. We are excited to have been given an opportunity to serve our community in this way while allowing you to remain in the comfort of your home.
